On July 12, 2025, more than 60 enthusiastic members from our parish set off on a remarkable journey to Croagh Patrick, one of Ireland's most famous mountains. This was more than just a hike; it was a vibrant celebration of community, faith, and the stunning beauty of the Irish landscape. As we gathered at the base of the mountain, excitement buzzed in the air, and the spirit of adventure was unmistakable.

Each year, thousands of pilgrims ascend this sacred mountain, especially on the last Sunday of July, referred to as "Reek Sunday." This tradition honors St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who is said to have fasted on this mountain for 40 days back in the 5th century.

After 3 hours of climbing, we finally reached the summit of Croagh Patrick. Standing at the top, the overwhelming sense of accomplishment filled our hearts. The panoramic views were awe-inspiring, and at that moment, we felt like we were on top of the world, surrounded by the raw beauty of nature.
